Perfect Day
anime: Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto (Someday's Dreamers)
music: Perfect Day, Collective Soul (feat. Elton John)
A straight-forward character profile of both Yume and Angela that reflects the feel of the original material well. It's not an effects bonanza, but a good, solid video that both those familiar and unfamiliar with the show and characters should enjoy. The song does an excellent job of filling in the gaps, I think. Anyway, this video was a lot of fun to put together, allowing me to try some new approaches in direction that I feel worked out nicely.

Forever and Before
anime: His & Her Circumstances (Kare Kano)
music: Your Song, Elton John
Episode 15 of Kare Kano offers a look back at how Yukino's parents came to meet and eventually marry, and this video does much the same using footage from that episode and that episode alone. It was an experiment that, when all was said and done, turned out to be a far better video than I had ever anticipated. The video is introspective in nature, with a dash of romance and reminiscence. It's actually rather sad, in a bittersweet sort of way.

Haruka's Song
anime: Kurogane Communication
music: Wind Nocturne, Lunar: Silver Star Story OST
This is a fairly heavy character profile of Haruka, the main character of Kurogane Communication. The story within the video is told through three different continuations, all touching on individual themes: loss, solitude, and hope. None of the other characters from the show make an appearance; the video is about Haruka, and Haruka only.

Sakura no Yume
anime: Cardcaptor Sakura
music: Yasashisa no Tane, Cardcaptor Sakura OST
The title of this video is roughly translated as "Dream of Sakura", which is likely the best description of its content. It's abstract, quiet, and slow-paced. However, there's a lot going on underneath the surface, and fans of symbolism should enjoy the video immensely. (remastered January 2003)

After the Rain
anime: To Heart
music: Ameagari, Angelic Layer OST
This is my first video, a short overview of To Heart that focuses primarily on the relationship between Akari, Hiro, and Shiho. It's a narrative that should make sense even to those who have yet to see the series, punctuated by flashbacks and key events which move the story along. Fans of the series need not fret, for the rest of the cast shows up as well. (remastered August 2002)

Worlds Apart (Catholic Schoolgirls in Trouble)
anime: Maria-sama ga Miteru - Haru
music: Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) - Journey
Episode 11 of Maria-sama ga Miteru (Haru) provides the narrative for this gag video. If you take it seriously, I'm sorry. It just goes to show how ridiculous the show is at times. Note that the video source is a digital TV rip; a remastered version with DVD source will be released in the future.

Karma Fairy
For some reason, the original Bottle Fairy OP reminded me of Karma Chameleon. The resulting video is undeniable proof I'm a big dork.

Elevator Music
anime: Neon Genesis Evangelion
music: Good or Don't Be, Evangelion OST
This is a short comedy bit I threw together one evening in a fit of boredom. It lampoons a well-known scene in the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series, so those who haven't seen the show probably won't get the joke.
