Sue, I believe it’s Golden Banner (Thermopsis montana). It was growing in patches in a small meadow just inside Rocky Mountain National Park. There were actually a couple of mule deer grazing a few feet away as I shot photos… thankfully, they didn’t seem to mind my presence.
