I had hoped to escape to the mountains again this past weekend, but was distracted by things to do here in town. The wildflowers are starting to bloom at lower elevations, though, so I need to get out there with my camera. The Trail Ridge Road should open in a few weeks, also… I’m eagerly anticipating that.
Of course, it’s chase season as well. All is quiet on the Plains for May, but I’m hoping for some High Plains action here in Colorado come June. No funds for a vacation, so I’ll have to settle for storms close to home.
