betsu ni (nothing in particular)

While browsing the band’s website recently, I was surprised to find a photo set from the same sidewalk gig outside Shinjuku Station. There was a female photographer moving about at the same time I was shooting. I assume Kumika Amagai was her name. Chances are, I’m just out of frame in most of these shots.

I just saw that you’re actually #3 on Google for the Hop Coasters. They do have kind of a cool sound. Their mini CD is available on CDJapan for about $13. I might have to get that someday.

I think their sound works better in a club environment (or on the street). They’re definitely an animated bunch, KAZUMAX in particular. Of course, you could probably figure that out from the photo.
