Don’t ya hate it when that happens? But hey, you can’t stop progress.

The closest occurance of that here is what used to be a plain old field of grass near both the community college I attend and the public school’s headquarters are. It spent some time being a pile of dirt similar to the above photo, before the makings of a great parking lot began to emerge.

Of course, I see it doing absolutely nothing to help the monstrous parking problems the college has. It’s simply too far away from campus for most people to consider it a viable alternative.
