If autumn “starts” on September 1st in Japan, are the Japanese expecting it to make it cooler all of a sudden? I guess it’s not working though. I was hoping they knew something I didn’t…
And sequels don’t always suck. The new Da Capo season is blowing the first one out of the water in my book. Or are we limiting this to movies? Then it would be true, except for Empire Strikes Back and One Piece Movie 4.
Autumn restaurant menus…hey! While I’m here, you don’t happen to know anything about the Honey and Clover CafĂ© do you?
The funny thing is, it actually was a little cooler for a few days. That just makes the heat worse.
The Honey and Clover Cafe is in Odaiba, on the third floor of the Decks shopping center. It’s the only place in Tokyo I’ve found that sells Hachikuro merchandise. The Fuji TV headquarters is next door, so I’m assuming that’s why the cafe is located where it is.
Are Autumn Menus different than Summer Menus? Plus, do they have different menus for every season? How’s the humidity? Some days here in Phoenix get to be about 113 degrees with 68% humidity, I’m assuming that Japan has a higher humidity than here.
And speaking of food, you mentioned you went to McD’s, does it taste any different?
I believe there are different menus for each season. And, yes, the lineup changes.
The humidity in and around Tokyo is pretty bad during the Summer. Also, consider that it’s the largest urban area in the world… the place is a heat island like no other. Thankfully, I live and work in Chiba, so I get a little bit of breeze off Tokyo Bay.
McDonald’s is pretty much the same here as it is in the States. Obviously, there are a few differences in the menu, but the standard items don’t taste much different. I believe they cook the fries in a different kind of oil, however.
