It's kind of weird watching a Christmas/New Year's episode in the middle of July.
While I enjoy this show, I find it difficult to say much of anything after each episode. It's pretty much the same stuff over and over again. It doesn't make for a good blogging material.
But, it's already half-way finished, so I'll continue blogging (slowly, of course).

I was worried the new girl was going to have an incredibly annoying voice, but she sounds normal. Her little "kyah!" sound may be trouble, though.
Anyway, I've noticed that, in discussions comparing and contrasting Sensei no Ojikan with Azumanga Daioh, one point that always seems to come up is how the latter has an all-female cast, whereas this show has a few guys...
...Seki and Kudo notwithstanding, that is.

I used to despise Summer. I always hated the ridiculous heat and the utter boredom, combining to strike me down with a deadly lethargy a full four months out of the year. Yes, I know Summer technically only lasts for three months, but I grew up in Texas.
Anyway, I've recently come to appreciate Summer, and I sometimes wonder if anime has something to do with it. Why? Because anime makes Summer look so inviting: matsuri, hanabi, cicadas, summer foods, and so on.
Anime taught me to love Summer. How pathetic is that?

I wish I hadn't been sipping tea when the "get your hands moving" joke came up. That was a little messy.
Anyway, another great episode. Since the show is all over the place, it's difficult to find much to say. I guess I could just fawn over Kitagawa like Momo.
Ah, Kitagawa...

Very much like Azumanga Daioh, but a little less funny and little more tiring to watch. It's still a ton of fun, though.
The animation is pretty simple, but once again, it's one of those situations where the simplicity fits the subject matter. The style is similar to Bottle Fairy, but that shouldn't come as a surprise: both shows share the same director (Iwasaki Yoshiaki).
There's been a lack of goofy comedy in my anime diet lately, so I'll keep watching.
