Scrapped Princess 24 (Final)

Good ending. There weren't any unexpected surprises or sudden twists at the very end, but everything wrapped up nicely. I will admit that - considering how much ground had to be covered - the episode felt a little rushed, with certain key moments lacking in impact. But, a slightly clunky final episode can't detract from the fact that this was an incredible series on the whole.
What's funny is that I didn't have much interest in Scrapped Princess before it began airing. Omo kept raving about it, however, so I decided to give it a try - even though pop fantasy isn't exactly my favorite genre. And, as I've said before, it turned out to be the best show of the year.

I'm a little late watching this, but that just means less of a wait for the final episode.
And that's a good thing, too, as this episode ends on a major cliffhanger. I had been expecting some sort of betrayal for awhile, but I didn't expect this.
Best show of the year, hands down.

So close to the end, yet the story continues to twist and turn. Good stuff.
Apparently, the show doesn't air this week, so it'll unfortunately be a longer wait for the next episode.

Wow, talk about blowing the animation budget all at once.
Anyway, the pacing seemed a little off, but the cool action sequences and the nicely written final scene make up for it.
Only three episodes left.

There's a whole lot of crazy shit going down.
I love the color palette used in this episode. The sunset imagery really sets the mood.

Ah, conspiracy! Everything continues to come together, the distinction between enemy and ally growing all the more muddled.
And of course, the tragedy level has been turned up a notch. Good stuff.

Aww...Pacifica has a boyfriend...
Best episode yet, if you ask me. The quality of direction and writing continues to impress.

After a couple of slow episodes, the pace picks up once again. Lots of suspense in this one, with a surprising twist in the end. This show continues to amaze me with the story it weaves.
Scrapped Princess began airing prior to the launch of the anime blog. Currently, I have no plans to blog the missing episodes.
