Dark and violent until the very end.
To be honest, it was a fitting end to the show, but it's a shame so little was explained - like the origin of the Dragonets, Akira's situation, the story of the "terrible three", and so on...
Anyway, I enjoyed watching Narutaru, even if it did make me feel extremely queasy and uncomfortable at times. I'm guessing the manga fleshes out the characters and storylines better, but at this point I'm not interested in seeing for myself.

Holy shit.
While watching this episode, I got the feeling I was catching little glimpses of the manga here and there. There's just far too much going on now, and with only one episode left, I don't see how even half of it can be resolved.
Anyway, the show's beyond disturbing now. I can't think of a new word to describe it well enough, so "holy shit" will have to suffice.

Hmm. This was a little too heavy. Kind of painful to watch.
For clarification, though, I'm not being critical. It's a good episode. It's just that I feel absolutely miserable now. Perhaps some Popotan will cheer me up - although, given how the last episode of that ended, perhaps not.
Anyone got some rope and a ladder?

It's a shame it took the show so long to find its footing, because it's really starting to get interesting now. Unfortunately, there's only a few episodes left.
Anyway, this was a solid episode that (finally) fleshes out some of the background of the Dragonets. Well, sort of. There's still plenty of questions, but at least they're gradually being answered.

This was actually a pretty good episode. Not only did it slow things down some (the last couple of episodes were pretty hectic), but it presented some interesting plot machinations. Animation and direction was much improved, as well - especially the latter.
If the remaining episodes can retain the feel of this one, seamlessly blending light and dark, pedestrian and seriously creepy, I might find myself enjoying the show more.

The fact that this is airing on Kids Station still fascinates me. It's simply that dark and violent.
At this point, the only thing that compels me to keep watching is a desire to figure out what the hell is going on. That, and to see just how much the show will shock me.

This show has gone from weird to outright disturbing.

Trying to catch up.

Yup, really messed up...
It's kind of hard to believe this is airing on Kids Station.

Damn, this show is messed up...

Uh...
Well, this episode was pretty dark. And remarkably violent. I guess I should have heeded those warnings regarding the subject matter of the original manga.
But I do think I like the show. If anything, it's, well...different.
