"Curry pulled us together, and curry forced us apart."
Wow. Sorry, but I can't top that.
Fun episode, although it's a shame the character designs were so wonky at times. I would have pegged this show for having a larger budget.

Kaori's quite the energetic girl. She must drink her Puchiyan™ every morning.
I've been watching Gokujou Seitokai untranslated, and while I've had a fairly easy time making sense of things, much of the dialogue in this episode flew right over my head. So, I might take a break and wait for the fansubs to catch up.

Kaicho moves fast. Rino so lucky.
I'm guessing the student council is some sort of crack paramilitary force in disguise. Are they hiding? Were they sent to prison for a crime they didn't commit? Did they promptly escape from a maximum security stockade to the Japanese underground? If I have a problem, if no-one else can help, and if I can find them, perhaps I could hire Gokujou Seitokai?

She's gonna blow up the world!
Pucchan's awareness despite Rino's cluelessness proves to be a constant source of amusement. The girl needs to see a shrink.
The humor in this show is really quite quirky, but the fact that it's delivered with such a straight face at times makes for extra laughs. While I wish the latter half of this episode hadn't wasted so much time on roll call, I have to admit the non-sequitur of an ending (Cannon in the mountain? Aircraft carrier? Whoops, I tripped, BOOM!? Kampai!?) had me in stitches.
It presses the right buttons, I guess.

Dots! Kanji! Muppets?
Following Bottle Fairy and Sensei no Ojikan, the always entertaining Yoshiaki Iwasaki returns to the Director's chair with Gokujou Seitokai. Then again, this is anime, so perhaps "Director's cubicle" would be more accurate. Hmm...
The show won't be everyone's cup of tea, no doubt, but I'm most definitely hooked. The fact that it features many of my favorite seiyuu might have something to do with it.
