Mahoraba - Heartful Days 18
|

It's only natural that we finally get an episode that makes good use of Kozue's multiple personalities. While I feel it's a gimmick best used sparingly (which, thankfully, happens to be the show's philosophy thus far), this was simply too much fun.
I was especially happy to see Nanako once again, as she's been missing in action for quite some time. Kozue is too cute for words to begin with, but Nanako? Sweet Jumpin' Jesus! Once again, I applaud Shiratori and his incredible self-control. Clearly, he has trained under a great master.
Even Chiyuri's presence was appreciated this time around. I still think she's the least interesting of Kozue's parade o' personalities, but she does good work.
As much as I hate to admit it, Shiratori can make one excellent girl ^_^;; That guy is too nice for his own good.
You know, I've been wondering. If Shiratori marries Kozue at some point in his life, what kind of life will he lead ?! and how will he be able to satisfy 5 different girls ?!
I don't think it would be too hard for him. If he did marry Kozue-chan, he would already have the attention of four of the idenities.
Chiyuri would be the most difficult one to deal with in that area, and I'm sure Saki-chan would make life painful in a non pleasure way for Shiratori.
While we're on that topic of split personalities, do all of the personalities share Kozue-chan's tastes in clothing? Chiyuri being the exception, but it seems Saki-chan would definitely question her girly get up.
I also find it odd that none of the personalities question their blackout moments. Maybe I'm treating the personalities too much as individual characters...
I can see it now. Shiratori married to Saki and both are living under the same roof. Guess who is the man of the house !!
All the personalities of Kozue seem to have the same clothing taste as Kozue indeed. I don't think that is strange since all of them love Umeboshi just like Kozue.
I just rememberd. What if Shiratori gets arrested for being a lolicon if he gets married to Nanako chan !! This is getting really messy.
This anime does look like fun. I just hope it doesn't go too far.
I kind of missed your blog entries but Blog on!!!
He can work something out. Tamami gets Saki and Chiyuri, he gets Nanako and the flower headed one, and they split Kozue by days, alternating sunday. Kozue, of course, would most likely be unaware of this setup, but everyone would be a winner!
You dare to forget Natsume's name!?
Otherwise, I agree entirely.
I wouldn't be so sure. Looks like Tamami doesn't like to share.
Hej! I found Your side by a mistake, when I was looking for something, and I think it's grate! Good luck! teja.eblog.pl
eer...was it just me or does anyone think that Kozue do share the same way of speaking as Dita from Vandread or was it some one else?
Shiratori makes an awesome girl haha. I was half-hoping that Shiratori's classmate would drop by suddenly while he was dressed up. I wonder if they're going to play that angle anymore for the rest of the anime, or if his friend is going to go on an endless fruitless search for the 'girl' of his dreams =)

Em.... ze co?? English kuleje... :D:D:D
It is not called a multiple personality disorder, this is because multiple personalities cannot me scientificaly proven with scientific evidence.
Therefor it is called DID, dissociative Identity Disorder, because the person's mental prossesi "shifts", when using one of those fancy scanners to see active regeons in the brain, different areas don't light up to show that Anna is now in control or Bob is located in this certain spot. Because that doesnot happen, the brain seems to dissociate (shift) itself causein gthe appearence of a differing personality.
so yes i know my psychology stuff...
but on a more interesting note... usualy people with DID usualy have suffered a traumatic event, so maybe thats the deseasing of kozue's parents. so thats a possibly plot to have.
so there's some anime stuff you can relate to
Hi, just found you site after doing a search for "Koi Kaze"--great site!
God I love this show!
... the wait for fansubs is agonising >_
Thanks for not updating your blog for so long - it's made me realise how much I love these older eps, which I'm now going to watch again ^_^
"That's shameful... maybe."
Hehehe.
I can't help but feel that these pansexualist reviews rather miss the point of the series, however. Granted, everything can have a sexual interpretation, but this story is about love first and foremost: between good friends, between mother and daughter, between Shiratori and Kozue. It's worth throwing that in the review somewhere.
Someone just reading the reviews might conclude it's a comical, gimmicky cartoon about a guy who tries to master his urges to rape schoolgirls... a possible interpretation, perhaps, but one that might turn away some who would otherwise watch it.
And that'd be a shame.
