Izumi screams entirely too much.

Before, I was a little concerned about Pochi's role in the show, but I have to admit, he's an absolute riot. I just hope we don't see too many "Pochi chases Izumi" sequences in future episodes. Sure, they're funny and all, but they make my ears hurt. Someone tell Izumi to put a sock in it.

Its a little known fact, but the truth is is that Mitsuki is the mastermind behind everything.

Its all orchestrated for her amusement.

The last scene where Izumi's debt was shown was a brilliant parody of Mahoromatic. That was the only part of the show that made me laugh though. You can only go so far showing Poochi x Izumi action.

Did anyone else notice the Cardcaptor Sakura staff in the opening?

I really want to like this show, I really do...

From the first two Ep, I must say that this show is just way too plain for an ecchi gag anime. It needs more Futakoi Alternative funky and cool beat.

The joke doesn't make me laugh at all and although the fanservice is nice (with such high production value) it can get a little tedious after a while.

Compared to the manga, the anime is a big let down, while manga version is full of energy and crazyness(mainly thanks to Yoshitaka) in anime both of this feel lacking (unbelievable for Gainax-maker of funky and cool FLCL). the pacing is too slow and they really drop the ball when it comes to Yoshitaka character, while manga version done a great job showing him to be 'the most crazy perverted maniac on earth who bend on notthing but to torment Izumi while sexually harass her(and others) in the process'. In anime he is just another boring lead guy in harem anime. Maybe it is because his voice, it sounds too calm for me (too calm and reserve for 'the most crazy perverted maniac on earth who bend on nothing but to torment Izumi while sexually harass her(and other) in the process').

Still, I'm gonna continue watching this (it's Gainax after all) and hope it gets better with time.
