Oh, how I envy Yoshitaka. I don't care if he's a complete loser. He's still one lucky bastard.

Like most GAINAX fanservice vehicles, He Is My Master is a lot of fun. It's not the fanservice that gets my motor running, though. It's the humor. This show is falling on the floor, bawling my eyes out, losing control of bodily functions funny.

It's all thanks to Yoshitaka, I think. Poor, pitiful, puny, perverted Yoshitaka. Mr. Unrepentant Misogynist. Filthy stinkin' rich or not, the guy's got issues. And, much to my delight, the show goes to great lengths to beat up on him. Izumi and Mitsuki are cute, of course, but, as far as I'm concerned, my man Yoshitaka is the real star of the show.

Speaking of which, Izumi and Mitsuki truly are cute. Especially Mitsuki. Even if Shimizu Ai's performance gives me Onegai Twins flashbacks.
