Dots! Kanji! Muppets?
Following Bottle Fairy and Sensei no Ojikan, the always entertaining Yoshiaki Iwasaki returns to the Director's chair with Gokujou Seitokai. Then again, this is anime, so perhaps "Director's cubicle" would be more accurate. Hmm...
The show won't be everyone's cup of tea, no doubt, but I'm most definitely hooked. The fact that it features many of my favorite seiyuu might have something to do with it.
This show amuses me greatly.
I hope someone subs this.
My first encounter with this show was when I visited the J C staff website. I couldn’t understand the summary of the show though because it was in Japanese (surprise surprise!!). I tried looking it up in many online anime databases but I didn’t find any summary. What exactly is this show about?!
Judging from the character designs and colouring scheme, I think this show is based on a game. Am I right?
Gokujo Seitokai is worth watching for Tamura Yukari talking to herself alone, complete with two of her different acting styles. Chiwa Saito is a nice thrown-in, as is the rest of the cast. So, as long as it doesn't get repetitive, I will keep watching.
