Mai-HiME 24

I'm with Momotato - using the same ol' music for Tate's swan song was kind of cheap. He deserves something a little more poignant.

Oh, and what exactly did Shizuru do with those little old ladies? Do I even want to know?

Much better!

I agree... I was definately feelin' it
not a dry eye in the house :p

Tenebrae | March 25, 5:15 AM

Another excellent episode. :) I must applaud the people responsible for this show for doing a 180 degrees turn and making this show worth my while.

Like I commented on the previous ep, it is now obvious that there is one pillar too many. It can only mean that SEARRS fake Hime's defeat did count, to bring the total up to nine. (Also, it seems the winner of previous round gets to compete in the next one, as without Mashiro's defeat counting we'd still have one pillar more than defeats) If Alyssa's death really counted, wouldn't SEARRS had won by default by creating 12 fakes and have them battle each other?

On the other hand, Reito is saying everything is going according to plan, and he can see the pillars right before his eyes. Either they resolve this in some clever manner in the two remaining episodes, or completely ignore it, leaving us wondering if the numbers had any significance in the first place. :)

Nice choice of music for the RIP Tate vid. ;D

Your videos make the beginning of the work day a little more pleasant.

not sure why ppl are suddenly loving this series so much

sure it was alot more boring with the "Orphan of the day" nonsense, but has it really improved that much with the recent "HiME-lander" arc?

sure, its slightly more interesting now, but I don't feel that a slew of meaningless character deaths has made it all the more wonderful
and by meaningless, I mean that there was no emotional impact (at least not for me)

Radical Bender | March 25, 11:02 AM

Heh. I was kinda hoping for Knockin' on Heaven's Door by Guns N' Roses. :)

wao | March 26, 4:26 AM

Wouldn't that make one think too much of Cowboy Bebop though... but yeah, taters, lol... I say po-tate-o, you say po-ta-to?

gao | March 29, 12:00 PM

Did Jeff just forget he had an anime blog and die? Come on, Air 12 etc...

It's only been a few days. I have a life, you know.
