I should have suspected it. Mai Hime is simply an all-girls version of X. It even comes complete with its own Fuuma-clone.
Now, I want to see if Mai will turn into yellow big sphere to save the world or if she will decapitate Mikoto and then cries "Mikotoooo!!!" while 'Forever Love' is playing. :P
