I'll be honest: I had trouble getting into this episode. Even though I expected the Summer arc to play out much this way, I still can't help but feel as if I've been dropped into the middle of a completely different show with nary a clue what's going on. That, and Ryuuya's goofy haircut gives me Fushigi Yuugi flashbacks. Feel my pain.
Still, it's a part of the story that had to be told. Kanna's a cutie, at least.
Actually, I really enjoyed this episode. Sure it was completely different, but I think I spent all week dreading the difference this arc would have, that I ended up finding it pretty exciting and interesting.
I don't want to say my interest in the series had begun to taper off, but I'm finding myself more excited about the next episode more than I have been recently, even if I don't really know what's going on.
