Sometimes, it's difficult to write about Air. The emotional weight of the story is better experienced than described, and criticism of the occasionally screwy direction always seems nitpicky in retrospect. While this particular episode devotes ample time and energy to the show's natural strength - its emotional depth - it also highlights the show's most noticeable weakness: the pacing.
I enjoyed it all the same, but like many previous episodes, I feel conflicted when it comes time to share my thoughts. Should I praise, or should I criticize?

In a way the series alluded to the fact that Misuzu might be the girl in the sky but I never saw the importance of that until now. But Misuzu's sweet, innocent and naive demeanor really got me this episode. I really hope the series continues on in this manner. I didn't cry last episode but this one just got me. In tears and I'm still loving it.

I *still* prefer Minagi to Misuzu! I wish they'd make a spinoff series where Minagi and Yukito go travelling... hmph.
All the same... ...your captions are not allowed to be so funny.

Your conflict is probably a product of this show being overrated. They like to build up big emotional scenes and throw tear-jerking music and detailed "sad faces" at you, but the problem is there really is no basis for the emotion. The reason is just that, the pacing. If feel that if you're crying to this show, its because you want to cry. Like crying at a chick flick.
