The story is still moving along at the speed of light, but the director somehow manages to slow the pace enough that it doesn't seem like too much is crammed into too little time. This might just work.
I want a Potato bobblehead.

From the point of view of someone who has never played the game or heard of Air before at all, the show doesn't come across as moving at warp speed. There are a few curious cuts from one scene to another that suggest story is being compressed, but otherwise both episodes so far have seemed, to me, to progress at pretty normal rate. Ignorance is bliss I guess. :)
I'm really starting to get a craving for this game. It'd be nice if it wasn't in the $65 range still but I guess thats the japanese software market.
But I agree, it doesn't seem like it's moving too fast (of course, most regular anime's do a blitz chara intro when they first start so maybe we're just trained).
wah, i wish i had time to watch this #&$#$# episode! maybe tonight... *grumble grumble*
Oh yeah, and i already have a screengrab of the Kanon triplets :) Makes me wish that they'd redo Kanon... :P
That reminds me...I meant to link a screenshot of the Kanon cameos. It was a nice surprise.
Anyone else notice Ayu, Makoto and the Purple haired girl all from Kanon, when Yukito went and asked where Kano was to deliver the boxed lunch? Or rather that is what I was going to ask ^^ but it appears someone did.
