I never quite got into building models myself, but my brother was a different story. Growing up, I got used to stepping lightly around little plastic parts, bottles of paint, and tubes of plastic cement.
Come to think of it, the entire realm of anime-themed toys - that is, models, figures, and other assorted collectibles - is one I've always had little interest in. Ultimately, I'm not the collector type.
I'm really into Gundam Models, so this episode meant a lot to me.
The weirdest thing was right before I watched it I ordered Master Grade models of the Gouf Custom and GM Custom, which are variations of the Gouf (Gauf) and GM (Jimmy) models that Ohno and Sasahara built in the episode.

I found the animation really crappy for this episode. And since I've never built a model or been near one, this episode didn't really excite me -_-.
