Breaking and entering is apparently easier when one is wearing a swimsuit. Just ask Natsuki.
This was surprisingly well-executed. The comic timing was perfect, with Natsuki's backstory nicely woven in to give the episode some actual substance. The voice acting also seemed better than usual (not that it's bad in the first place), Mai in particular. Nakahara Mai has a bright future.
I'm glad the show hasn't gone monster of the week on us, as was my initial concern. In fact, I believe Mai's giant dragon thingamajig has only shown up on two occasions. That's six times less than I had expected by now. Once again, the show continues to exceed expectations.
I like how this show takes the characters that are just so impressed with how cool they are (Natsuki, Nagi) and then pops their bubble.
And Natsuki always manages to embarrass herself in the most public of ways doesn't she?
I love Nakahara's work in Daphne. :3
(btw, kamineko isn't my site anymore, it's mechazawa.net)
Whole heartedly agree with Fencedude. That's what makes parts of Mai-HiME so enjoyable to watch.
wonder what will be in store fore Natsuki in episode 11 based on the audio preview? hehe.
Hidoi ne! ^_^
I mean, Natsuki really has all the bad luck. I guess it's her rash nature which induces the extra mischivious feelings which taste oh so sweet.
I may be wrong, but if I got the Preview for ep11 correctly, the next Takeda-Natsuki clash seems to be over a different woman, not over catching another Natsuki eyeful again. (Too bad!)
Oh, and if you ask me: Mai-HiME has the best seiyuu performances I've heard in a looooong looooooong time. So exceptionally well-done. And complemented with a _great_ soundtrack I just HAVE to own.
I hope they keep it up!
