So, let me get this straight: Nagi's standing there, surrounded by a pack of angry HiMEs (excluding Midori, on account of the vomiting), and yet, he escapes with his life? I mean, surely they're as annoyed with the little dweeb as us poor viewers, if not moreso!
Oh well.
The story is progressing nicely. I figured the show would be collapsing under the weight of it's ridiculously giant cast by now, but everything seems to be working out for the time being.
Nagi will get what's coming, I'm sure of it.
And Nao is great, almost as awesome as Midori.
I loved the hand lick at the end. Deliciously sexy.

Ridiculously giant cast where 10% gets 90% of the lines, yeah. It can work.
Nice to see the different variety of HiMEs out there. Seems like not all of them are following "destiny" per say.
Nao definitely ranks high on my badass HiMEs ;)
Any HiME that leads to Nagi's demise will immediately rocket to the top of my HiME popularity list.
Guys, why do you all hate Nagi so much? ;)
I mean yeah, he's a smart aleck and obviously coerced the HiMEs into their child contracts, but I don't even SEE him as that annoying.
Maybe his shock and sympathetic reaction in episode 8 softened my opinion a bit, but he doesn't annoy me nearly as much as Takumi.
It's only partially Nagi's character. I have to agree with Momotato that Akira Ishida's voice is irritating. It's just annoying enough in Mai Hime to make you really dislike Nagi, but crap, watch Genshiken #7; he does a guest voice in that and you just want to strangle him so he doesn't talk any more.
I guess the only reason I'm dulled from the irritation of Akira Ishida as Nagi is that he reached my peak in irritation voicing Chrno. Anyhow, time for me to see what he gets away with in this ep.
