Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha 03

It's a good thing Nanoha gets a rival next episode, because her adversaries have been pretty lame so far. I mean, she's not fighting giant vacuum cleaners, but it's almost as bad.

And, I'm afraid I've succumbed to finding humor in all the wrong places in the show. Let's see, guy decides to give his seed to the girl he likes, and by "putting all his feelings into it", it sprouts wood.

I don't think there's anything more to say to that.

Hahaha, I thought Mahoushoujo Lyrical Nanoha was almost as cute as Card Captor Sakura. Granted, the story seems to come from Figure_17, but it's also a bit like Nurse Witch Komugi-chan and Magical Kanan [a.k.a. Septem Charm] (the supposed new anime that some company is planning to air).

My first impressions of this series was that it was a mix of Card Captor Sakura and Figure_17. Then the morning scenes of Nanoha changing into her school uniform struck me as an oddity. For a "kiddy-oriented" show, why would they show a little girl changing her clothes? CCS never did that, as far as I can remember (I'll have to re-watch ALL 70 episodes and 2 movies to see if CLAMP did that or not).

My second impression of this series is "technology makes the world go round". I mean, think about it, seeds are defined as relics of an ancient and highly advanced alien race and the one that Nanoha is using is making a lot of arbitrary decisions by itself to get involved with Nanoha. There's a "Defense" and "Offense" program within the Flame Heart that Nanoha uses. It then lets Nanoha access those programs and how she uses it is entirely up to her. Kind of arbitrary, if you ask me.

The show isn't really intended for a young audience. After all, Nanoha's character originally appeared in the ero game Triangle Hearts, and the show has a late night timeslot on TV.

Nanoha was in Triangle Hearts? Really? Why would they put this show in a late timeslot?

Corrections: I typed "Flame Heart" as the object that Nanoha uses to transform and seal the other seeds, it's actually "Raging Heart". I should stop playing games while i watch anime.

Ok,aside from the fact that the changing scene is somewhat strange (naked Nanoha while changing), I just can't get over the horrible hair cuts everyone has in there, what's with the side fringe.
