Kind of anti-climactic for a final episode, but looking at the final arc of the series as a whole, it wasn't a bad ending. And I do appreciate the bittersweet element with regard to Sakura. Admittedly, I think I ended up liking her more than Nemu, so it kind of stung to see her leave in the end, perhaps never to return again. But it was the most fitting way to complete the story, I think.
I might be voicing a minority opinion here, but I think Da Capo turned out just fine. It had some problems here and there, but I enjoyed it, so that's that. I don't ask for much else.
Hmm... i've just finish watching the DC series... i totally agree with you that kotori is the best character around... I do think that the story became serious after episode 16(?). anyway the whole story suddenly boils down to just competition between sakura and nemu. the side episodes are really thoughtful(though a little bit too deep for me to understand- can you please explain to me? Especially the first episode, where juinichi wuz punched twice..), with some episodes showing some scenes from the main story. hmm... i guess the DC game ain't that serious in that sense? anyway is there any relationship between juinichi and mako and also her elder sis?
you think Utamaru's scary? Try the cat-man character( i dont know what is he called). he's scary enough, the way he pops up from nowhere, especially the one where nemu and mako stopped by in the abandoned house..really creepy! anyway, it's really a nice anime, with nice songs(2nd ending song, kotori's theme and koi no yakan BMG) n nice graphics(especially the sakura trees!) so i think its really okay... kudos also to Suginami for being able to read mako's EVERY move(punches, kicks etc) if this a fighting anime then suginami would definitely haf won.. the way he dodges attacks better than Goku from dragonball series. Thanks to you for the nice review! and also thenice pics you'ce got! do you have any nice anime wallpaper?
I'd also like to add that the ending's really sad... the H-game of DC isn't that serious isn't it? juinichi has to choose between a few different girls... all of different personalities.
Watched the anime and I agreed with everything you just said.
Kotori is the best! Makes me wonder why Asakura had to choose his sis with such a gem in front of him. And yeah, I would have chosen Sakura over Nemu, even if it means a lot less drama...
