Dark and violent until the very end.
To be honest, it was a fitting end to the show, but it's a shame so little was explained - like the origin of the Dragonets, Akira's situation, the story of the "terrible three", and so on...
Anyway, I enjoyed watching Narutaru, even if it did make me feel extremely queasy and uncomfortable at times. I'm guessing the manga fleshes out the characters and storylines better, but at this point I'm not interested in seeing for myself.
this show was way out wack for me XD
way too much voilence for a kids show and the starting gives a completely different view of the actual show, i still dont get half of the things T-T
the best thing tho is how cute hoshimaru looks ^-^;;
Damn this anime show is just like Evangelion.It is also miss up just like Neon Genisis Evangelion , everything is almost the same.When I finish the Neon Genisis Evangelion shows and movies I was going to get anything that kill me realy realy realy fast:P.In the Evangelion there are this robots called Evangelions and this kids that are 14 to 16 years old piolt this robots(Evangelion). The thing is that all the kids have problems in there lives and thats why they can piolt the Evagelions its realy odd I didn't get unit the end.At the midle of the shows in the series I got what was going on but at the last few it got me confused more than the begining.
I could imagine that this series was cut-in-half when the producer (or whoever) realized it's completely unappropriate for kids or too weird and violent. The end felt somewhat made-up especially the final scene with Akira. Did her father molest her or what happened? Also Shiina wearing the Panda uniform was strange. I thought she wasn't very good at school?
I hope they'll produce another 13 episodes somewhen. After the 3rd episode it got me really hooked. I had never expected this because the 1st looked like intro to Pokemon or so.
Except for the dragonets (especially the one in the final) Narutaru was very different to NGE (also known as "I mustn't run away"). NGE is more battle-centric, very repetitive and it completely pissed
me off with pseudo-psycho bullshit in the final episodes.
While surely exaggerated Narutaro felt like flesh and blood not like the common stereotype anime characters.
