Yes, it's another anime blog. I watch anime, share my thoughts, you read, and the cycle continues until Japan sinks into the ocean.
Rather than looking at anime DVD releases in North America, the site focuses on new anime currently airing on television in Japan. If you'd like to see what I'm buying and watching on DVD, take a look at my collection. Free anime is easy to come by nowadays, but never forget how much time and money goes into making the shows you enjoy. Buy some DVDs, import or domestic, and support the industry!
If you haven't guessed, my name is Jeff Lawson. I'm 27 years old, have a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Texas, and live in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.
While I speak and read Japanese well enough to watch (most) anime untranslated, I still have a preference for fansubs. To acquire these fansubs, I use a combination of IRC and Bittorrent, much like everyone else. Visit Animesuki for more information.
I use BSPlayer as my default media player. It has built-in screenshot capability.
Only if you download and host them yourself. Hotlinking is prohibited, so you're wasting your time if you try linking directly to the images.
My top three: Maison Ikkoku, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Full Moon wo Sagashite.
Other favorites include Ai Yori Aoshi, Angelic Layer, Azumanga Daioh, Comic Party, Evangelion, Fancy Lala, Figure 17, Fruits Basket, His and Her Circumstances, Magic User's Club, Patlabor, Planetes, To Heart, and Uchu no Stellvia.
If you have a question that wasn't answered here, or just want to say "Hi!", feel free to e-mail me. If you're just looking for information on where to download anime, I ask that you do your own research.
You can often find me at one of the following discussion forums: AnimeonDVD, and Megatokyo (in the Anime, Manga, and Cosplay section).
